This program is presented in a manner that maintains the attention of both children and adults. Adults are presented with information on when and how to activate the search and rescue organization, the information rescuers need in order to identify the missing person, and how and where to make themselves available to the rescue party.

At the conclusion of the Lost and Safe program, Lt. Abney will hold a question and answer period. Children and adults are encouraged to participate in order to ensure an understanding of the information presented. The entire program will last approximately one hour, and each child receives a brochure covering all of the procedures taught in the Lost and Safe presentation.

Although this program is taught mainly in the Greater St. Tammany Parish Area of Louisiana, arrangements may be made to have a presentation in other parishes and states.  Please contact Lt. Abney for further information.
